Medium Format - Eastern Sierras - Day 92

EASTERN SIERRAS, Calif. (April, 2025) - First trip to the Eastern Sierras in many years. I believe it was in the 1930’s when Los Angeles started tapping into Owens Lake for water. The result was basically drying up the lake. This caused many towns to basically shut down as they were mining towns. Keeler was one of those towns. There is still some people living in Keeler, but it is largely abandoned. I recently spent a couple of days up there and here are some of the images.
